I agree Snap is not used by many folks these days. But when I moved my cursors to joints and center of lines it still doesnt snap. With snapping enabled, a window dragged to the edges or corners of your display snaps to new configurations, such as maximized when moved to the top edge, resized to half-screen when dragged to the left edge, or reduced to quarter size when moved to the corners. I have green cursor color on black screen. This is similar to the window-snapping feature for Windows. I enlarged the snap cursor size to the largest. It works on Snapchat but not Snap Camera. I did all that but my auto snap is still not working. To prevent new objects from this behaviour, also uncheck 'Align New Objects to Pixel Grid' from the top-right dropdown menu of the Transform panel. Of course these are all paid products, but they do provide additional functionality, particularly the ability to map shortcuts to the trackball buttons with modifier key combos. BetterTouchTool (just shortcut buttons, but this app has a lot of great other functionality) There's a couple alternate options for mapping shortcuts and customizing the scroll behavior (on mac) for the Expert Trackball.
